Transportation Unit This unit deals with all areas of the curriculum. Have fun with model vehicles the students can wear, set up time trials in the hallway, dance and sing. Phonics and creative writing are all part of the fun.

In this unit the outcomes are clearly stated. There is a comprehensive list of suggested literature suggestions. Most areas of the curriculum are covered with activities for each. There are ample opportunities for story writing, word recognition, singing, drama and drawing. Suggestions for evaluation and assessment strategies are supplied. This is an interesting unit for all ages in the primary division.

This unit deals with some of the recurring quotes found in the Curious George series and provides a fresh approach to activities pertaining to the books. Children love these books and will happily engage in writing, reading and craft activities involving the beloved monkey.
